In collaboration and partnership with the community and City, we plan to transform the current dying center into a vibrant, sustainable, mixed-use neighborhood consistent with the City of Cupertino General Plan vision for the Vallco Shopping Area Special District. Our goal is to transform an outdated, failing indoor shopping mall to a welcoming, pedestrian-friendly 21st-century work/live/play community connected to people, place, and climate. An exciting, walkable, safe, convenient and sustainable neighborhood with a mix of retail, entertainment, employment and housing where people can live, work, shop and play. We envision this new neighborhood to be pedestrian and bike-friendly, open and accessible, dynamic, welcoming and human scale. Our goal is for Vallco to be the heart of an emerging “people’s place” for the entire Cupertino community.
