I have deep experience in the Bay Area, San Jose, and Silicon Valley in both the built environment and the policy realm guiding it. My specialty is site design during forward planning and entitlements, where I optimize jurisdictional policies and cash flow in pursuit of the Best Possible Place. My experience as a public sector employee and a private developer gives me a unique perspective from both sides of the table, and has informed all my work on behalf of cities, agencies, and property owners. I am an excellent team-builder and manager with years of experience overseeing complex planning and entitlement processes in many Bay Area jurisdictions. My hard-earned successes have come through a balance of adhesion to non-negotiables (honestly, just recognizing the non-negotiables puts me ahead of most people in the room) and sensitive, genuine cooperation with key stakeholders.
